Lantra Scotland

Careers Videos

We have since produced a series of short films profiling different rural careers. Each video follows a Modern Apprentice through their working day and explains the support that they have received from their tutors and employer.

Filming for these videos has taken place on the Buccleuch Estates in the Scottish Borders, plus in The Scottish Highlands on an estate and at a salmon farm. (see videos below)

We have produced a number of  promotional films for Lantra Scotland.

The first film featured young people who live, learn and work in and around the National Park experiencing rural jobs in a project supported by Historic Scotland and the Skills Partnership.

The 10-minute film that we produced (below) follows s a group of six unemployed young men at their week of rural work experience on Luss Estates. During that time they took part in a diverse range of jobs in the countryside, including farming, fencing and dry-stane dyking.

We’ve worked with Paul Saunders on producing videos on rural careers and have been delighted with the results.

Thanks to the talents of Paul and his team, our films have been extremely effective in promoting land-based careers, and I would happily recommend his services to anyone looking for a creative and cost-effective service.
