Earlier in the year I produced a series of films for The Loch Lomond Steamship Company. They are the charity that is restoring the Maid of the Loch Paddle Steamer, with the aim to get her back in service and sailing once again on Loch Lomond.
From the time of being asked to make the film to the day of the filming the production grew and grew in scale. Elspeth from the charity put together an excellent plan, story line and crew to make the message stand out. Here are some photographs of the planning tools used to prepare for the filming.
The role of the film is to raise money, via Crowdfunding platforms, for the replacement of the boiler. Please click the link below to help to support the appeal.
The video is presented by actor Bill Paterson, with a soundtrack composed and recorded especially for the film by Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain.
You can read more about our previous filming productions for The Maid of the Loch by clicking the link below. It was very enjoyable working with a team of very talented people on this film, you can see the full credits of everyone involved at the end of the video.
Good luck to the Loch Lomond Steamship Company on their Crowdfunding appeal, we wish them well and hope to see the Maid of the Loch sailing on Loch Lomond.
